CheatChat is designed to allow users to post and search without publicly displaying their real identity. We do not require users to provide a real legal name or phone number to create a standard account. We do not sell personal information. We use information primarily to operate the Services, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, support moderation, comply with legal obligations, and protect users and the platform.
However, no online platform can guarantee complete anonymity. CheatChat may collect and retain account, device, technical, payment, moderation, and legal records as described in this Privacy Policy, and such information may be disclosed where required or permitted by law.
CheatChat (“CheatChat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) recognizes that privacy, anonymity, free expression, interpersonal commentary, safety, moderation, cybersecurity, legal compliance, and platform integrity exist in constant tension on interactive user-generated content platforms. CheatChat is designed to facilitate lawful expressive activity, commentary, storytelling, social discussion, interpersonal experiences, satire, opinion, allegations, narratives, and user-generated expression while simultaneously preserving the operational, investigative, moderation, cybersecurity, legal, and enforcement capabilities necessary to maintain the integrity and viability of the Services.
This Privacy Policy describes in detail how CheatChat collects, receives, stores, preserves, processes, analyzes, monitors, shares, transfers, discloses, retains, monetizes, uses, and otherwise handles information relating to users, visitors, devices, communications, and interactions associated with the CheatChat website, mobile applications, software, communications, infrastructure, moderation systems, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing, browsing, downloading, registering for, interacting with, contributing to, or otherwise using the Services in any manner, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy in its entirety, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and governed by the CheatChat Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control to the fullest extent permitted by law.
CheatChat is an interactive computer service provider and user-generated content platform that allows users to create, publish, discuss, share, comment upon, and engage with expressive content concerning interpersonal, romantic, social, emotional, personal, or relational experiences and related topics.
The Services may contain content that users consider controversial, offensive, emotional, inaccurate, disputed, unverifiable, exaggerated, satirical, misleading, defamatory, incomplete, sarcastic, provocative, or otherwise objectionable. Users expressly acknowledge and agree that user-generated content may include allegations, accusations, subjective opinions, emotional reactions, disputed narratives, rhetorical expression, personal experiences, and references to real individuals.
CheatChat does not independently verify user submissions and does not guarantee or represent that any content appearing on the Services is accurate, complete, truthful, reliable, lawful, safe, substantiated, or appropriate. Users acknowledge that all content appearing on the platform should be treated as user-generated expression and not as verified factual reporting.
CheatChat supports lawful expressive activity and interpersonal discussion while reserving broad rights to moderate, investigate, restrict, preserve, disclose, or remove content and users where CheatChat determines such action is appropriate, necessary, legally advisable, operationally beneficial, commercially reasonable, or protective of users, the platform, or third parties.
By using the Services, users expressly acknowledge and agree that:
CheatChat may collect, receive, generate, derive, infer, analyze, preserve, correlate, monitor, and process broad categories of information relating to users, accounts, devices, communications, moderation activities, disputes, investigations, transactions, platform interactions, technical systems, and content associated with the Services.
Information collected by CheatChat may include information voluntarily provided by users, information automatically collected through technical systems, information received from third parties, information generated internally through moderation or analytics systems, and information obtained through investigations, reports, legal proceedings, or operational activities.
CheatChat does not require users to provide a real legal name, phone number, profile photograph, or precise physical address to create a standard account. However, users may voluntarily provide certain information when creating an account, contacting support, submitting disputes, making payments, participating in investigations, or otherwise interacting with the Services.
Information voluntarily provided by users may include names, usernames, aliases, display names, email addresses, telephone numbers, profile information, authentication credentials, account preferences, payment information, billing records, uploaded documents, photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, messages, comments, support requests, moderation appeals, legal correspondence, complaints, reports, communications with CheatChat, and all forms of content submitted through the Services.
Users may voluntarily submit information relating to third parties, including references to real individuals, interpersonal disputes, allegations, experiences, narratives, or commentary. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that they possess all necessary rights, permissions, authorizations, and legal bases required to submit such information.
CheatChat may automatically collect technical, behavioral, operational, and analytical information, including IP addresses, device identifiers, operating systems, browser information, hardware configurations, network information, mobile carrier information, geolocation information derived from IP addresses or device settings, session information, timestamps, engagement metrics, behavioral analytics, clickstream data, scrolling activity, search queries, referral URLs, interaction history, moderation history, content interaction metrics, crash reports, telemetry data, diagnostic reports, metadata associated with uploads or submissions, risk scores, fraud indicators, enforcement logs, and security-related information.
CheatChat may collect and correlate information across devices, sessions, accounts, payment methods, technical identifiers, moderation systems, and behavioral activity for security, moderation, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, analytics, operational, investigative, enforcement, commercial, and legal purposes.
CheatChat may receive information about users and activity from third parties, external sources, publicly available information, moderation reports, complaints, legal proceedings, social media platforms, analytics vendors, advertising providers, payment processors, authentication providers, fraud prevention services, cybersecurity vendors, affiliates, business partners, legal representatives, law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and other lawful sources.
CheatChat may combine information collected from the Services with information obtained from external sources for moderation, analytics, security, fraud prevention, identity verification, legal compliance, investigations, enforcement, business operations, and platform integrity purposes.
Users acknowledge and agree that CheatChat may associate multiple accounts, sessions, technical identifiers, devices, payment methods, behavioral indicators, IP addresses, or activity patterns where CheatChat determines such association is operationally appropriate or necessary to prevent abuse, fraud, ban evasion, coordinated misconduct, impersonation, scraping, harassment, or violations of the Terms of Service.
CheatChat may process information for safety, integrity, moderation, anti-abuse, fraud prevention, anti-harassment, cybersecurity, legal compliance, coordinated misconduct detection, impersonation prevention, platform security, risk mitigation, enforcement, investigative, evidentiary, operational, and public safety purposes.
CheatChat reserves the right to utilize automated systems, behavioral analytics, machine learning systems, artificial intelligence technologies, moderation tools, technical detection systems, risk scoring systems, device correlation technologies, and related mechanisms to identify, investigate, prevent, suppress, restrict, or respond to abuse, manipulation, fraud, harassment, stalking, scraping, coordinated attacks, misinformation campaigns, account compromise, unauthorized automation, ban evasion, or threats to users or platform integrity.
CheatChat may use device fingerprinting technologies, session analysis systems, behavioral correlation technologies, IP analysis, linked-account analysis, technical telemetry, and related technologies to identify suspicious activity, coordinated misconduct, repeat offenders, or attempts to circumvent moderation or enforcement systems.
Users expressly acknowledge and agree that CheatChat may preserve, investigate, review, correlate, and disclose information associated with suspected misconduct or platform abuse.
CheatChat is fundamentally a public or semi-public user-generated content platform. Users acknowledge and agree that information submitted to the Services may become visible to other users and may be copied, archived, indexed, cached, screenshotted, discussed, preserved, scraped, redistributed, or disclosed outside CheatChat’s control.
Users expressly acknowledge that content submitted to the Services should not be considered private, confidential, privileged, secure, anonymous, protected, or permanently deletable.
Deleted, moderated, hidden, anonymized, restricted, suppressed, or removed content may continue to exist in backups, archives, litigation holds, moderation systems, security systems, law enforcement records, arbitration materials, user devices, screenshots, external repositories, search engine caches, or other systems beyond CheatChat’s control.
CheatChat reserves the right to preserve content, metadata, moderation records, deleted materials, communications, logs, account information, and technical records indefinitely where CheatChat determines such preservation is reasonably necessary for litigation, arbitration, investigations, evidentiary preservation, safety review, compliance obligations, operational continuity, fraud prevention, platform integrity, cybersecurity purposes, or protection of CheatChat, users, or third parties.
CheatChat may use information for any lawful operational, technical, analytical, commercial, advertising, legal, moderation, investigative, enforcement, security, research, development, or business purpose.
Information may be used to provide, maintain, improve, optimize, personalize, monetize, troubleshoot, secure, expand, and analyze the Services and associated technologies.
CheatChat may use information to administer accounts, authenticate users, process payments, verify eligibility, monitor engagement, personalize experiences, improve moderation systems, conduct analytics, optimize infrastructure, train personnel, support customer service, enforce policies, prevent abuse, detect scraping or automated activity, investigate complaints, preserve evidence, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, defend legal claims, cooperate with law enforcement, maintain operational continuity, conduct audits, and protect users, the platform, or third parties.
CheatChat may use user content, communications, behavioral information, metadata, moderation records, engagement metrics, and technical data to develop, train, improve, commercialize, and operate machine learning systems, artificial intelligence systems, automated moderation systems, recommendation systems, ranking systems, predictive analytics systems, safety systems, language processing systems, and related technologies.
CheatChat does not sell personal information to third parties for money. CheatChat also does not use personal information for third-party advertising profiling unless expressly disclosed and permitted by applicable law.
Users expressly acknowledge and agree that CheatChat may aggregate, anonymize, de-identify, analyze, commercialize, license, use, and create datasets derived from platform activity, behavioral information, content interactions, moderation systems, analytics systems, or user-generated content for lawful business purposes.
CheatChat may utilize algorithmic systems, automated technologies, recommendation engines, personalization systems, ranking systems, moderation systems, suppression systems, prioritization systems, search systems, behavioral analytics tools, and artificial intelligence technologies to organize, display, prioritize, suppress, restrict, recommend, classify, personalize, rank, moderate, analyze, flag, review, or otherwise process content, users, interactions, or platform activity.
Users expressly acknowledge and agree that algorithmic systems may produce different outcomes for different users and that CheatChat makes no guarantee regarding visibility, discoverability, reach, engagement, promotion, suppression, ranking, monetization, or accessibility of any content or account.
CheatChat reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit, reduce, suppress, deprioritize, demonetize, restrict, remove, or otherwise control the visibility, discoverability, distribution, accessibility, or promotion of any content, account, user, topic, hashtag, keyword, or activity without notice and without liability.
CheatChat may implement automated and manual moderation systems designed to identify, review, investigate, remove, suppress, archive, restrict, preserve, escalate, or otherwise process content and user activity.
Moderation systems may involve artificial intelligence systems, machine learning technologies, automated classifiers, behavioral analysis systems, human reviewers, external vendors, trust and safety personnel, cybersecurity personnel, fraud investigators, or legal consultants.
CheatChat reserves the absolute right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, investigate, remove, preserve, restrict, suppress, escalate, or respond to any content, communication, account, or activity.
CheatChat undertakes no duty to monitor, verify, authenticate, remove, investigate, preserve, or resolve disputes relating to user-generated content.
Moderation decisions are inherently subjective, discretionary, and operational in nature and do not constitute endorsement, ratification, verification, publication, authentication, adoption, or approval of user-generated content.
CheatChat may disclose, transfer, preserve, share, publish, or provide information to third parties where CheatChat determines such disclosure is operationally appropriate, commercially reasonable, legally required, beneficial to platform integrity, necessary for investigations, or otherwise lawful.
Information may be disclosed to service providers, contractors, payment processors, infrastructure providers, hosting providers, analytics companies, cybersecurity vendors, fraud prevention services, insurers, auditors, legal counsel, investors, lenders, affiliates, subsidiaries, acquirers, successors, regulators, arbitrators, courts, law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and business partners.
CheatChat may disclose information in response to subpoenas, court orders, arbitration demands, litigation discovery requests, preservation notices, warrants, governmental requests, emergency requests, law enforcement investigations, regulatory inquiries, legal claims, disputes, or other legal processes.
CheatChat may disclose information without notice where CheatChat believes disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm, threats to safety, harassment, stalking, extortion, exploitation, unlawful conduct, fraud, violence, self-harm, cybersecurity incidents, or coordinated abuse.
Users expressly acknowledge and agree that account information, metadata, moderation records, communications, deleted content, technical logs, IP addresses, payment information, and device identifiers may be disclosed during investigations, arbitration proceedings, litigation, legal disputes, or law enforcement matters.
CheatChat may utilize cookies, pixels, SDKs, scripts, web beacons, local storage technologies, attribution systems, analytics systems, session replay technologies, behavioral analytics tools, advertising identifiers, and similar tracking technologies to authenticate users, maintain sessions, personalize experiences, analyze engagement, detect fraud, optimize infrastructure, support advertising, improve moderation systems, monitor platform integrity, and conduct analytics.
Third-party vendors integrated into the Services may independently collect information through tracking technologies subject to their own privacy practices and policies.
Users may disable certain tracking technologies through browser or device settings, although portions of the Services may not function properly as a result.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of personal information, portability of certain information, or opt-out of certain communications or processing activities. CheatChat will respond to verified privacy requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Deletion requests are subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, moderation, dispute-resolution, backup, accounting, and compliance exceptions. CheatChat may retain information where reasonably necessary to protect users, preserve evidence, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, or defend legal claims.
Privacy requests may be submitted to privacy@cheatchat.com or any other privacy contact designated by CheatChat.
CheatChat retains information for periods determined by CheatChat in its sole discretion based on legal, operational, investigative, technical, security, evidentiary, business, contractual, moderation, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, dispute-resolution, and enforcement considerations.
Retention periods may vary substantially depending on the nature of the information, account activity, moderation history, litigation risks, fraud indicators, platform safety concerns, regulatory obligations, legal disputes, investigations, or business needs.
Information may continue to exist after account deletion or content removal in backups, logs, archives, forensic systems, machine learning datasets, litigation holds, moderation systems, disaster recovery environments, security systems, or historical records.
CheatChat does not guarantee immediate deletion, permanent deletion, complete deletion, or irreversible deletion of information.
As a general matter, account information is retained while the account remains active. Payment and transaction records may be retained as required for tax, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance purposes. Technical logs, IP-related records, fraud-prevention records, moderation records, dispute records, and safety records may be retained for longer periods where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce the Terms, comply with law, or defend legal claims.
CheatChat implements commercially reasonable technical, organizational, operational, and administrative safeguards intended to protect information and maintain platform integrity. However, no platform, application, infrastructure environment, transmission system, database, storage mechanism, cloud provider, moderation system, or cybersecurity program can guarantee absolute security.
Users expressly acknowledge and agree that internet-based services inherently involve cybersecurity risks, including unauthorized access, interception, scraping, credential theft, account compromise, phishing, malware, ransomware, insider threats, infrastructure failures, denial-of-service attacks, data breaches, leaks, disclosures, social engineering attacks, malicious third-party conduct, and unauthorized redistribution of information.
CheatChat cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, destroyed, scraped, redistributed, compromised, leaked, or otherwise exposed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, users assume all risks associated with transmitting, storing, or interacting with information through the Services.
CheatChat does not guarantee anonymity, pseudonymity, secrecy, confidentiality, invisibility, protection from identification, immunity from subpoena, immunity from litigation, or immunity from legal process.
Users expressly acknowledge and agree that account information, technical identifiers, device information, IP addresses, moderation records, communications, metadata, behavioral information, payment records, and historical logs may be preserved, analyzed, produced, disclosed, or introduced in investigations, litigation, arbitration proceedings, disputes, moderation reviews, or legal processes.
Users should not submit information they would not want potentially preserved, disclosed, litigated, reviewed, associated with their identity, or examined by third parties.
The Services are not intended for users under eighteen (18). CheatChat does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account or submitted information through the Services, please contact us at safety@cheatchat.com so that we may review and take appropriate action.
The Services may not be used for employment screening, tenant screening, insurance determinations, credit determinations, consumer reporting, investigative profiling, law enforcement profiling, background checks, stalking, surveillance, intimidation, harassment, retaliation, doxxing, extortion, or verification of criminal conduct.
Users are strictly prohibited from using information obtained through the Services to identify, locate, target, contact, threaten, surveil, harass, exploit, or harm individuals outside the platform.
CheatChat reserves the right to utilize artificial intelligence technologies, machine learning systems, automated classifiers, language processing systems, recommendation engines, moderation systems, synthetic media detection systems, and related technologies in connection with operation of the Services.
Users are prohibited from submitting unlawful synthetic impersonations, manipulated media intended to deceive, deepfakes intended to harass or exploit individuals, or synthetic content designed to facilitate fraud, impersonation, stalking, or reputational harm.
CheatChat reserves the right to label, restrict, suppress, remove, investigate, or disclose synthetic or AI-generated content at its sole discretion.
CheatChat may transfer, assign, disclose, preserve, or otherwise provide information in connection with mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, financings, restructurings, reorganizations, bankruptcy proceedings, diligence reviews, investments, joint ventures, or other corporate transactions.
Users acknowledge and agree that information associated with the Services may be transferred as part of such transactions.
CheatChat operates primarily in the United States and may transfer, process, analyze, preserve, disclose, or store information in jurisdictions that may have different privacy protections, legal standards, discovery obligations, government access frameworks, moderation requirements, or cybersecurity practices than a user’s home jurisdiction.
By using the Services, international users expressly consent to such transfers and processing.
California residents may possess rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, subject to applicable statutory limitations and exceptions.
CheatChat reserves all rights permitted under law to retain information necessary for security, moderation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, litigation defense, platform integrity, investigations, free expression interests, dispute resolution, and establishment or defense of legal claims.
Users located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may possess rights under applicable data protection laws, including rights relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, and withdrawal of consent.
Certain rights may be limited where processing is necessary for freedom of expression, moderation, legal claims, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, public safety, investigations, or compliance obligations.
The Services may contain integrations, APIs, links, advertisements, payment systems, plugins, or connections involving third-party platforms or services.
Payment information may be processed by third-party payment processors, such as Stripe or applicable app-store payment systems. CheatChat does not store full credit card numbers. Payment processors may collect, process, and retain payment information according to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
CheatChat may use third-party service providers for payment processing, hosting, infrastructure, cybersecurity, DDoS protection, analytics, communications, customer support, fraud prevention, and related operational purposes. These providers may process information on CheatChat’s behalf or under their own privacy policies, depending on the service.
CheatChat does not control and is not responsible for third-party privacy practices, security measures, operations, content, or policies.
Users interact with third-party services at their own risk.
CheatChat reserves the right to modify, amend, restate, supplement, replace, or update this Privacy Policy at any time in its sole discretion.
Updated versions become effective immediately upon posting unless otherwise specified.
Continued use of the Services following publication of revised terms constitutes binding acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
