CheatChat is operated by CheatChat, Inc., a Delaware corporation. CheatChat provides an interactive user-generated content platform designed for dating-safety experiences, interpersonal-safety commentary, related storytelling, and associated community discussion. CheatChat does not create, verify, endorse, adopt, or guarantee user-generated content.
CheatChat is not a law-enforcement agency, consumer-reporting agency, credit-reporting agency, employment-screening service, tenant-screening service, investigative dossier service, background-check database, or provider of legal, safety, medical, psychological, or law-enforcement advice. Users must independently verify information before relying on it or taking action.
Use of CheatChat is governed by the CheatChat Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference into this Legal & Compliance page. The Terms of Service govern account use, user content, prohibited conduct, subscriptions, third-party services, indemnity, arbitration, class-action waiver, limitation of liability, and related contractual matters. The Privacy Policy governs how CheatChat collects, uses, preserves, discloses, and retains information.
Nothing on this page limits CheatChat’s rights or remedies under the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, applicable law, court order, arbitration proceeding, law-enforcement request, subpoena, preservation request, or other legal process.
All original CheatChat content and materials, including the platform design, interface, layout, logo, brand assets, proprietary text, software, source code, object code, databases, compilations, moderation systems, algorithms, workflows, documentation, and trade dress, are owned by CheatChat, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, scrape, store, transmit, reverse engineer, decompile, commercially exploit, or otherwise misuse CheatChat’s proprietary materials without CheatChat’s prior written consent.
User-Generated Content
User-generated content remains subject to the ownership rights of the submitting user or other lawful rights holder, but by submitting content to CheatChat, users grant CheatChat the license and rights described in the Terms of Service, including rights to host, display, store, preserve, moderate, modify, distribute, analyze, and otherwise use such content for lawful platform, moderation, safety, analytics, artificial-intelligence, machine-learning, business, enforcement, and legal purposes.
“CheatChat,” the CheatChat logo, and all related names, marks, slogans, graphics, icons, trade dress, and brand elements are trademarks, service marks, or proprietary identifiers of CheatChat, Inc. You may not use any CheatChat mark in a manner that suggests sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement, approval, confusion, disparagement, or commercial association without prior written permission.
All third-party trademarks, logos, names, and marks referenced on the platform remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to third-party marks does not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or approval.
CheatChat is an interactive platform for user-generated expression. Posts, comments, replies, narratives, allegations, opinions, ratings, reports, and other submissions are created by users, not by CheatChat. User-generated content may be disputed, incomplete, exaggerated, fictionalized, anonymized, satirical, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
CheatChat does not independently verify user submissions and does not represent that content on the platform is accurate, complete, current, lawful, substantiated, safe, or appropriate. All users should treat platform content as user-generated expression and not as verified factual reporting, background-check information, law-enforcement information, or a safety clearance.
Users are solely responsible for the content they submit and for any legal claims arising from that content, including claims for defamation, libel, false light, invasion of privacy, harassment, doxxing, misappropriation, or unlawful disclosure. CheatChat may remove, restrict, preserve, or disclose content as described in its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
CheatChat content may not be used to identify, locate, contact, surveil, threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, extort, retaliate against, dox, exploit, or harm any person. Users may not use CheatChat for employment screening, tenant screening, insurance decisions, credit decisions, consumer reporting, law-enforcement profiling, investigative profiling, background checks, or verification of criminal conduct.
Users may not scrape, harvest, extract, reproduce, redistribute, screenshot, record, republish, commercially exploit, or compile CheatChat content outside the platform except where expressly authorized by CheatChat or permitted by applicable law. Attempts to weaponize platform content for real-world targeting or coordinated harassment may result in removal, account termination, legal action, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
CheatChat and all related services, content, features, tools, integrations, third-party services, and platform materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheatChat disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, uninterrupted operation, security, and error-free performance.
CheatChat does not warrant that:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheatChat, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, affiliates, service providers, successors, and assigns shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, enhanced, or similar damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, reputational harm, emotional distress, relationship decisions, business interruption, platform downtime, data exposure, or claims arising from user-generated content or third-party conduct.

CheatChat’s moderation, removal, restriction, preservation, ranking, labeling, suppression, investigation, or enforcement decisions do not constitute creation, endorsement, verification, adoption, or ratification of user-generated content. CheatChat reserves the right, but does not assume a duty, to review, moderate, remove, restrict, preserve, or disclose content or accounts where CheatChat determines such action is appropriate.
Users may report concerns through the app or by emailing safety@cheatchat.com. CheatChat may act on reports in its sole discretion, subject to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, applicable law, legal process, and operational constraints.

CheatChat may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material upon receipt of a compliant notice and may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Users may submit counter-notifications where permitted by law. Processing timelines are estimates only and do not create liability.
CheatChat may contain links, integrations, APIs, payment systems, app-store connections, analytics tools, infrastructure providers, cybersecurity tools, vendors, contractors, or other third-party services. Third-party services are not controlled by CheatChat, and CheatChat is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, security measures, availability, accuracy, legality, or policies. Users interact with third-party services at their own risk.
Certain optional services may be provided by independent third-party investigators, researchers, vendors, or service providers. CheatChat may act only as a marketplace or facilitator for those third-party services and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, usefulness, timeliness, or availability of any third-party results.
Users may not request or use third-party services for unlawful surveillance, stalking, harassment, intimidation, credential misuse, unauthorized account access, unlawful GPS or device tracking, unlawful access to protected records, doxxing, retaliation, or any other unlawful or abusive purpose. Law-enforcement and legal-process requests should be sent to legal@cheatchat.com and must include sufficient identifying information, legal authority, scope, deadline, contact information, and any applicable preservation or nondisclosure request. CheatChat reserves all rights and objections, including the right to challenge, narrow, reject, or require valid legal process before producing information.
The dispute-resolution provisions in the CheatChat Terms of Service control. Consistent with those Terms, disputes are subject to the pre-dispute resolution process, individual binding arbitration, class-action waiver, and governing-law provisions set forth in the Terms of Service.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in the Terms of Service, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under the Federal Arbitration Act, on an individual non-class basis, with arbitration located in New York County, New York. New York law governs the Terms of Service and related disputes, except where preempted by federal law or where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Before initiating arbitration or legal action, users must provide written notice of dispute with detailed facts and supporting documentation and allow the pre-dispute resolution period specified in the Terms of Service. Nothing in this section limits CheatChat’s right to seek injunctive, equitable, or emergency relief where permitted by law.
Nothing on this page is intended to waive, limit, or exclude rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Where mandatory local law provides users with specific rights or remedies, those rights apply only to the extent required and do not expand or otherwise modify the remaining provisions of this page, the Terms of Service, or the Privacy Policy.
California residents, EEA/UK users, New York residents, and international users may have additional rights or limitations as described in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
CheatChat may update, revise, supplement, replace, or modify this Legal & Compliance page at any time. Updated versions become effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Material changes may be communicated through the Services, by email, or by other reasonable means where appropriate. Continued use of CheatChat after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised page, subject to rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
